This is some of the equipment we use on our investigations. In addition to what is listed here, you should always carry a lot of extra batteries, lense wipes, and memory cards (for your digital camera).

EMF Meter

Measures the changes in the electro-magnetic field.

Ghosts are believed to influence these changes.

 

 

K-2 Meter

Another kind of EMF meter. Measures the changes in the electro-magnetic field.

Ghosts are believed to influence these changes.

 

 

It's not necessary, but it can help

Digital Thermometer

Detects changes in temperature when pointed towards an object.

Ghosts are believed to have an ability to influence air temperature.

 

 

Digital Voice Recorder

Voice recorders pick up spirit voices and sounds that are inaudible to humans.

Digital recorders are best because they can be uploaded to a computer.

 

 

Good to have, but not necessary

Dowsing Rods

Dowsing rods are normally used to find underground water, but ghosts are believed to influence the movement these rods make when being held by a human.

Flashlights

Clearly you have to have a few of these. Safety first.

SONY makes video cameras with a night vision feature. This comes in handy a lot.

 

 

Motion Detector

You can set these up in a few rooms and if one gets set off, you should try to focus on investigating more in the room it was set off in.

 

 

Not necessary, but what you write may help later

Notepad and pencil

Always try to keep track of everything that happens during your investigation. Write down the time as well.
